Raia Shyrinova is the Co-Founder and COO of Hills & Ranges Private.
Together, Raia Shyrinova and Edward Handley founded and developed Melbourne’s first and only 5-star rehabilitation facility. The Chalet was the first facility, nestled within the charming village of Olinda in The Dandenong Ranges. Shortly thereafter, Raia and Edward would oversee the addition of both The Ranch and The Manor in Olinda and Sassafras respectively – combined, the Handley AOD Rehab Group now boasts 3 luxury rehabilitation facilities, all within the tranquil rainforest surrounds of The Dandenong Ranges.
Born and raised in Ukraine, Raia is possessed of a worldview that is unique to her – a breadth of knowledge and life experience which is evident in Raia’s bearing and demeanour. Having studied in a number of countries, most notably Italy and Poland, Raia speaks 5 languages. Driven by her own diverse, multinational life experience, Raia moved to Australia and took the first steps on her self-ascribed mission to remove the societal stigma that surrounds those suffering the disease of addiction. Together with Edward Handley, Hills & Ranges Private was conceptualised and then brought to life.
Working alongside HARP’s clinical practitioners, Raia designed the now patented curriculum for which Hills & Ranges Private is known. The 5i Program is a multi-modality recovery curriculum, utilizing the best of 12-step recovery and combined with Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy. At HARP, the 5i curriculum is complimented by extensive, private one on one psychology and counselling sessions, in conjunction with therapeutic treatments, exercise, and nutrition programming.
Raia is a loving mother to two girls, and is engaged to be married. An inspired leader in the field of holistic health and wellness, Raia maintains a predictable set of self care rituals, which includes exercise, meditation, nutrition, talking to people about her emotional states, staying connected with family, and taking walks in nature.
