Donna understands the complex needs of those recovering from addiction. She assesses clients’ Alcohol & Other Drugs and coordinates with Allied Health Professionals during their residential rehab stay to ensure they receive high-quality clinical care and a seamless experience for clients.
A lifelong high-achiever, Donna was Dux of the College in Year 12, and received an award from the Victorian Department of Education for obtaining a 100% result in Australian History. She has gone on to complete extensive tertiary study at Monash University, graduating with a High Distinction average, and has excelled in her storied career as a nurse over two decades.
A devotion to all aspects of her life and an unrelenting work ethic has seen Donna establish herself at the forefront of Melbourne’s nursing establishment whilst being a mother to her son and daughter – in this, Donna cites the unwavering support of her husband and her parents. Striving for excellence in accordance with HARP’s core values, Donna places the highest premium on achieving the best possible outcomes for the patients in her care.
On addiction recovery, Donna upholds a strong belief that the stigma commonly associated with addiction must be broken. As a specialist in the field of addiction treatment, she believes that there is more work to be done to educate society as a whole on the clinical disease that is addiction.
Donna’s interests include going to the theatre, reading, aromatherapy, and spending quality time with her family and her dog, CJ.
